Salary: ₦100,000 – ₦130,000 monthly, plus mid-year bonus
Job Summary
TravelDeer is looking for a competent and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years post-NYSC accounting experience.
• Experience in the travel industry will be an added advantage.
• Candidates should be able to commute easily to Ikeja, Lagos State.
Key Responsibilities
• Record and maintain daily financial transactions.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other basic accounting documents.
• Handle bank reconciliations and support monthly financial reporting.
• Tax documentation and filing
• Track payables, receivables, petty cash, and office expenses.
• Process with payroll documentation and statutory remittances.
• Maintain proper filing of accounting records and supporting documents.
• Experience with Zoho Books Accounting software is a plus.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years post-NYSC accounting experience.
• Experience working in a startup environment is required.
• Experience in the travel industry will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and basic financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to commute easily to Ikeja, Lagos State.
