Senior Revenue Accountant

What You'll Do
• Record and review oil, gas, and NGL revenues for operated properties on a monthly basis
• Process non-operated revenue activity from partner statements and check detail
• Prepare and load monthly revenue accruals to ensure complete and accurate financial reporting
• Reconcile revenue transactions and allocations across properties, products, and ownership interests
• Process revenue distributions and support month-end close activities
• Assist with revenue account reconciliations and true-up entries
• Own the gas balancing process from initial reporting through final accounting and reconciliation
• Analyze gas imbalance positions and prepare balancing schedules for management and audit support
• Record gas balancing adjustments, imbalance liabilities, and make-up gas entries
• Manage and coordinate the annual 1099 reporting process, including corrections and filings
• Partner with land, operations, production, and marketing teams to investigate and resolve revenue discrepancies
• Support the Revenue Manager in strengthening controls, procedures, and public-company compliance requirements
• Serve as a resource and mentor to junior revenue accounting team members
What They're Looking For
• 5+ years of upstream oil & gas revenue accounting experience
• Strong understanding of operated and non-operated revenue accounting
• Experience managing gas balancing and imbalance accounting processes
• Proven experience owning the 1099 reporting process
• Strong knowledge of revenue accruals, reconciliations, and month-end close procedures
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with oil and gas accounting systems such as Enertia, Quorum, P2, or similar platforms
