Job Summary
A fast-growing renewable energy and solar solutions business is seeking to hire an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, internal control, statutory compliance, inventory accounting, project costing, cashflow monitoring and overall financial management.
The ideal candidate must be technically sound, commercially aware, detail-oriented and capable of managing finance operations in a product-based and project-driven business environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts.
• Prepare financial statements, cashflow reports, profitability reports and performance analysis.
• Monitor revenue, expenses, margins, assets, liabilities and working capital.
• Supervise payables, receivables, payroll, petty cash, banking and daily accounting transactions.
• Ensure accurate bank, cash, customer, vendor and stock reconciliations.
• Monitor inventory accounting for solar equipment, inverters, batteries, panels, accessories and spare parts.
• Track landed costs, purchase costs, logistics costs, installation costs and project-related expenses.
• Support costing and profitability analysis for sales, installations, contracts and projects.
• Develop, implement and monitor internal control procedures.
• Coordinate tax, audit and statutory compliance.
• Supervise and guide accounting/finance staff.
• Provide management with financial insights for decision-making.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• ICAN or ACCA qualification is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years’ relevant accounting/finance experience.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial finance role.
• Strong financial reporting and management accounts experience.
• Strong experience in reconciliations, budgeting, internal control and statutory compliance.
• Good knowledge of inventory accounting, cost control and project costing.
• Experience in renewable energy, solar, engineering, construction, import/distribution or product-based business will be an advantage.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting software skills.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability.
Pay: ₦800,000.00 - ₦1,000,000.00 per month
