JOB SUMMARY
Prepare and assess patients for cardiac surgery.Provide perioperative and postoperative nursing care.Assist the surgical team with cardiac procedures and theatre preparation.Monitor patients and promptly identify and escalate complications.Administer medications and treatments safely.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and clinical protocols.Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anaesthetists, perfusionists, and other healthcare professionals.RequirementsRegistered Nurse with a valid NMCN licence.Minimum 4 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in cardiac surgery, cardiothoracic theatre, ICU, or perioperative care.Strong clinical assessment, monitoring, and emergency-response skills.Excellent communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
