• Develop and implement comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on safety procedures, emergency response protocols, and environmental stewardship.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, analyze root causes, and recommend preventive measures to mitigate future risks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and environmental sustainability.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field; professional certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental health and safety management, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
• In-depth knowledge of Nigerian environmental regulations and international EHS standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven track record of driving continuous improvement in EHS performance.
