Role Description The Head of Sales / Commercial Lead will oversee commercial strategy and sales execution across money remittance, fixed income investments, and treasury solutions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nigeria, responsible for leading the sales team, setting revenue targets, and developing market expansion plans.

The role involves building and maintaining relationships with institutional and retail clients, identifying new business opportunities, and negotiating high-value contracts. The Head of Sales / Commercial Lead will collaborate closely with product, operations, risk, and compliance teams to ensure offerings meet client needs and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day activities include monitoring sales performance, analyzing market trends, preparing management reports, and coaching team members to achieve commercial objectives.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in sales leadership or commercial management within financial services, preferably in money remittance, investments, or treasury solutions.

• Strong skills in business development, client relationship management, contract negotiation, and revenue growth.

• Ability to design and implement sales strategies, set performance targets, and manage sales pipelines and forecasts.

• Solid understanding of financial products, market dynamics in Nigeria and regional markets, and relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with proficiency in using CRM and sales reporting tools.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders and external partners.

• Proven capability to lead, mentor, and develop diverse teams, and to work collaboratively with cross-functional colleagues.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CRM, sales leadership) is an advantage.

• High level of integrity, adaptability, and resilience, with readiness to work on-site and travel within Nigeria as needed.
