Job summary

Gap Finance Limited is seeking an experienced Accountant to own daily reconciliation, liquidity monitoring, and treasury operations across the business. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience within a fintech, microfinance bank, commercial bank, or other financial institution, and can be trusted to keep records accurate, cash positions visible

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily reconciliation of all operational and settlement accounts.

• Monitor liquidity and cash positions across the business.

• Support treasury operations and fund movements.

• Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies.

• Prepare treasury, liquidity, and reconciliation reports.

• Maintain accurate accounting records and support month-end closing.

Requirement:

• 1–4 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance operations, or treasury within a fintech, microfinance bank, commercial bank, or other financial institution.

• Strong experience reconciling bank accounts, wallets, settlement accounts, and general ledger balances.

• Proven ability to monitor cash positions, track liquidity needs, prepare cash flow reports, and support funding decisions.

• Experience managing fund transfers, payments, settlements, banking relationships, and treasury reporting.

• Strong commitment to accuracy, with the ability to resolve discrepancies and comply with internal controls and regulatory policies.

• Must have worked within the financial sector — fintech, MFB, or commercial banks. Investment bank experience is not required.
