VACANCY: PROJECT MANAGER

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised, results-driven, and experienced Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee the successful execution of the Company’s projects from initiation through completion.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered within approved timelines, budgets, scope, and quality standards, while effectively coordinating internal teams, contractors, consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage projects from initiation to completion.

• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.

• Coordinate project teams, contractors, consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders.

• Monitor project progress against approved timelines, budgets, and objectives.

• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, quality, cost, and time requirements.

• Identify potential project risks, delays, and challenges and implement appropriate corrective measures.

• Conduct regular project meetings and provide progress updates to Management.

• Prepare project reports, schedules, budgets, presentations, and other relevant documentation.

• Monitor project expenditure and ensure costs remain within approved budgets.

• Liaise with Finance, Procurement, Operations, Legal, Technical, and other relevant departments as required.

• Review contractors’ and vendors’ performance and ensure compliance with agreed specifications and deliverables.

• Coordinate inspections, approvals, testing, commissioning, and project handover where applicable.

• Maintain proper project documentation, records, contracts, approvals, and correspondence.

• Ensure compliance with relevant Company policies, health and safety requirements, regulations, and industry standards.

• Manage project changes and ensure that variations are properly assessed, documented, and approved.

• Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and delivery standards.

• Provide Management with timely updates on project status, risks, challenges, and required decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 5–8 years’ relevant experience in Project Management or a related role.

• Proven experience managing projects from planning through completion.

• Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent will be an added advantage.

• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.

• Excellent leadership, coordination, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; knowledge of project management software is an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects or priorities simultaneously.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project costs and resource management.
