Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate, competent, and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our clinical team.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care, monitor patients, support doctors and other healthcare professionals, and ensure a safe and positive patient experience throughout the care process.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide professional, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing care.
Assess patients' health conditions and accurately record vital signs.
Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed.
Monitor patients' conditions and promptly report changes to the appropriate medical team.
Assist doctors and other healthcare professionals during consultations, procedures, and treatments.
Prepare patients for examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures.
Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care where required.
Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and provide immediate nursing interventions within scope of practice.
Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential patient records.
Educate patients and their relatives on medications, treatment plans, discharge instructions, and preventive healthcare.
Maintain strict infection prevention and control standards.
Ensure clinical equipment, treatment rooms, and nursing stations are clean, safe, and properly prepared.
Monitor nursing supplies and report shortages or equipment issues promptly.
Participate in ward rounds, patient handovers, and multidisciplinary healthcare meetings.
Support patient admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
Provide appropriate follow-up care and ensure continuity of patient management.
Uphold professional nursing ethics, hospital policies, and patient confidentiality.
Participate in health outreaches, screening programs, and other hospital initiatives.RequirementsRegistered Nurse (RN) qualification from a recognized institution.
Must be duly registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
Valid practicing license.
1–3 years relevant clinical experience is preferred.
Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is an advantage.
Strong clinical assessment, patient-care, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Good knowledge of infection prevention and control practices.
