About the Role

Joes & Eves Limited is seeking an experienced and commercially minded HR Business Partner (HRBP) to partner with management and business teams in driving people strategy, employee performance, engagement, and organisational effectiveness.
The ideal candidate should be able to move beyond routine HR administration and confidently advise managers, identify people-related challenges, and translate business needs into practical HR solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with management and team leads on people-related matters.

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.

• Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and workplace concerns.

• Support workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning.

• Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives.

• Partner with managers to identify performance gaps and develop appropriate interventions.

• Provide HR insights and recommendations to management using relevant people data.

• Support recruitment and talent acquisition strategies based on business needs.

• Review and improve HR policies, processes, and employee lifecycle practices.

• Manage and resolve complex employee relations matters appropriately.

• Support organisational development, training, and capacity-building initiatives.

• Monitor HR metrics and prepare reports for management decision-making.

• Ensure HR practices remain compliant with relevant employment regulations.

• Act as a trusted HR advisor to employees and management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree/HND in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 4+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably with experience in an HRBP or strategic HR role.

• Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, talent management, and HR operations.

• Demonstrated ability to work closely with business leaders and managers.

• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee matters professionally.

• Strong understanding of HR policies, processes, and employment practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and HR systems.

• Ability to work independently and effectively in a hybrid environment.
