Role Description The Human Resources Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Warri. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, including administering HR policies, maintaining employee records, and coordinating recruitment and onboarding activities.
The specialist will manage personnel documentation, assist in performance management processes, and help implement employee engagement initiatives. Additional responsibilities include supporting employee benefits administration, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and providing guidance to staff on HR-related issues. The role involves close collaboration with department heads and the wider HR team to promote a positive, fair, and inclusive workplace culture.
Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with experience in day-to-day HR operations.
• Ability to develop, interpret, and implement HR Policies in alignment with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Knowledge of Employee Benefits administration, including enrollment, documentation, and communication to staff.
• Proficiency in Personnel Management, including maintaining accurate records and supporting performance and disciplinary processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices in healthcare or similar regulated industries.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with a focus on fairness and confidentiality.
• Ability to use HR information systems and standard office software to manage data and generate reports.
• Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
