Role Description The Senior Project Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Lekki, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role oversees end-to-end project delivery, including planning, resourcing, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
The Senior Project
Manager coordinates cross-functional teams, manages timelines and deliverables, and ensures that project objectives align with client expectations and organizational standards. Daily responsibilities include leading status meetings, reviewing progress reports, resolving project issues, and providing clear guidance to project team members and vendors. The role also involves mentoring junior staff, improving internal processes, and contributing to business development activities when required.
Qualifications
• Demonstrated expertise in project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
• Experience in expediting and working as an expeditor to ensure timely delivery of materials, services, and documentation.
• Background in inspection activities, including quality checks, compliance verification, and vendor performance review.
• Strong logistics management skills, covering coordination of shipments, scheduling, and supply chain follow-up.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with attention to detail and risk awareness.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, project management, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are an advantage.
• Comfort with digital collaboration tools and project management software.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site collaboration in Lekki with remote work.
