Job Summary
• We are seeking a qualified and passionate English Language Teacher to join our Primary School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English Language to pupils in Basic 1–6, building strong foundations in literacy, communication, and comprehension.
Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging English Language lessons tailored to primary school learners
• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and age-appropriate assessments
• Foster reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills among pupils
• Support learners in developing confidence and fluency in English
• Promote a love for reading and storytelling through creative classroom activities
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate English Language into other subject areas
• Participate actively in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs
Qualifications & Requirements
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in English or a related field
• A Postgraduate Diploma in Education PGDE or equivalent teaching qualification is an added advantage
• Proven teaching experience in English Language at the primary school level
• Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
