• We are seeking a qualified and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our faculty.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics across relevant grade levels, preparing students for internal and external examinations, and nurturing analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons aligned with the Nigerian curriculum and Jesuit educational philosophy
• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments
• Guide students in solving mathematical problems and applying concepts to real-life situations
• Foster critical thinking, logical reasoning, and numeracy skills among learners
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary learning
• Participate actively in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs
Qualifications & Requirements
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• A Postgraduate Diploma in Education PGDE or equivalent teaching qualification is an added advantage
• Proven teaching experience in Mathematics at the secondary school level
• Experience as a WAEC examiner is mandatory
• Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
