Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos for a Staff Nurse/Midwife, RN/RM (Post NYSC). The role includes providing patient care, conducting assessments, and assisting in the preparation and management of treatment plans. Responsibilities also involve monitoring patients' conditions, administering medication, and providing emotional support to patients and their families. Maintaining accurate records and ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations and protocols is critical to the role.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in providing patient care, assessing health conditions, and administering medications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to educate patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
• Attention to detail for maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring protocol compliance.
• Conduct normal deliveries and assist with obstetric procedures when required.
• Monitor fetal and maternal wellbeing during pregnancy and labour.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• A Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Nursing/Midwifery (RN/RM).
• Completion of NYSC (National Youth Service Corps).
• Knowledge of current healthcare practices and access to specialized care environments is a plus.
