Role Description The Project Manager role at Fortitude is a full-time, on-site position based in Abia State.
The Project
Manager is responsible for managing all phases of the construction project. This role includes managing relationships with construction managers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and all field personnel.
The Project
Manager ensures that the project is completed on time, within scope and within budget. Time management, cost control, safety, quality assurance, and resolving all issues and conflicts that arise to produce quality work, in accordance with the project contract documents, is of utmost importance.

Manager will track project progress, prepare status reports, support expediting and inspection activities, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The role also involves continuous improvement of project processes and contributing to high levels of client satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Planning and Scheduling: Define project scope, establish clear timelines, and map out each phase of the work from inception to handover.
• Budget and Financial Management: Prepare cost estimates, monitor financial health, and control spending to keep the project on budget.
• Resource Allocation: Distribute labor, equipment, and materials efficiently across teams.
• Risk and Safety Management: Identify potential hazards or delays, create mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with safety and building regulations.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for clients, executives, vendors, and technical staff to maintain alignment.
• Quality Control: Supervise deliverables and enforce standards to guarantee that the final infrastructure meets all technical and contractual requirements
Education/Skills/Experience
• Bachelors’ Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent work experience is a plus.
• 5-10 years of project management experience in commercial projects.
