Job Description
Administrative and Clerical Support
• Front Office and Reception Management
• Correspondence: Draft, proofread, and format various documents, including letters, memos, reports, and school newsletters, often utilizing mail merge and other IT tools.
• Records Management: Maintain and update both manual and computerised student and staff records
• Scheduling and Coordination: Manage complex calendars, schedule meetings e.g., parent-teacher conferences, annual reviews, book appointments, and coordinate logistics for school events, field trips, and functions.
• Office Upkeep: Maintain an organised and presentable office environment, manage office equipment copiers, printers, and arrange for necessary maintenance.
• Supplies and Inventory: Monitor and order school, office, and educational supplies, maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Attendance Tracking: Monitor and record student attendance and absence registers, following up with parents on unexplained absences first-day calling.
• Bookkeeping: Undertake routine financial duties, including processing invoices, recording receipts, making bank deposits, and managing petty cash or school funds.
