Job Summary



• Pact Microfinance Bank Limited is seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead the acquisition, management, and growth of Corporate and Commercial Banking relationships.

• The ideal candidate should possess strong relationship management skills and a proven track record of mobilizing deposits, managing high-value accounts, and driving business growth within the banking industry. Candidates with experience in Commercial Banks are strongly preferred.



Key Responsibilities



• Develop and execute strategies for acquiring Corporate and Commercial Banking clients.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with SMEs, corporates, institutions, and high-net-worth customers.

• Drive deposit mobilization and achieve assigned business growth targets.

• Identify opportunities for loans, financial products, and other banking solutions.

• Manage and grow existing corporate and commercial accounts.

• Prepare business proposals, presentations, and relationship plans for prospective clients.

• Monitor account performance and customer satisfaction levels.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

• Collaborate with Risk, Operations, and Credit teams to deliver excellent customer service.

• Provide market intelligence and competitor analysis to support business growth initiatives.



Requirements



• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related discipline.

• Minimum of 5-10 years' experience in Business Development, Relationship Management, Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, or Sales within a Commercial Bank or Financial Institution.

• Strong understanding of Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, and Deposit Mobilization.

• Demonstrated ability to manage and grow large-value customer portfolios.

• Proven record of meeting and exceeding business targets.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong knowledge of financial products, credit processes, and relationship management principles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and banking applications.

• MBA or relevant professional banking certifications will be an added advantage.



Preferred Candidate Profile:



• Experience working with reputable Commercial Banks in Nigeria.

• Existing network of corporate and commercial clients.

• Strong business development orientation with excellent stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently and deliver results in a target-driven environment.
