Sales Representative — A perfume & Giftstore
Location: Maitama Abuja, Nigeria
Job Type: Full-Time Salary: ₦130,000-180,000/month (with sales commision)
Schedule: 6 working days, 8:30am – 6:00pm
Start Date: Immediate
About the Role
We're hiring an experienced Sales Executive to drive revenue by converting inquiries into paying customers — whether that's a DM on Instagram, a call on the phone, or a walk-in at the store. This is a high-impact, target-driven role for someone who thrives on closing deals and building genuine relationships with customers.
What You'll Do
• Respond to and convert customer inquiries across DMs (Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok), phone calls, and in-person visits
• Confidently close sales and drive customers from "just looking" to "ready to buy"
• Deliver a warm, knowledgeable, and persuasive customer experience both remotely and face-to-face
• Follow up on leads and past customers to drive repeat purchases
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity
• Represent the brand professionally at all times which includes featuring in brand content.
• Share upsell and cross-sell options for higher sales record.
• Post on Instagram, TikTok, and other brand platforms as directed.
• Track analytics and sales performance
• Brainstorm and implement strategies that improve sales
What We're Looking For
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in retail, fragrance, gifting, or a fast-paced customer-facing environment
• Strong track record of closing sales and hitting targets
• Excellent communication skills — confident, persuasive, and personable both in writing (DMs) and speaking (phone/in-person)
• Comfortable handling high volumes of customer messages and calls
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and resilient under pressure
• Professional appearance and demeanor for in-person customer engagement
• Based in or willing to work from Abuja
