COMPANY DRIVER
Westchase Oil & Gas Limited is seeking a reliable, professional, and safety-conscious Company Driver to join our team.
Job Summary The Company Driver will be responsible for providing safe, reliable, and professional transportation services for company personnel, management, clients, documents, and other authorized company-related activities. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent driving skills, punctuality, professionalism, discretion, and a strong commitment to road safety.
Key Responsibilities
Safely transport employees, management, clients, and authorised visitors to designated locations.
Ensure timely transportation for official meetings, site visits, airport transfers, and other business-related activities.
Operate company vehicles responsibly and in compliance with applicable traffic laws and road safety regulations.
Conduct routine checks on the assigned vehicle and promptly report faults or maintenance requirements.
Maintain the assigned vehicle in a clean, safe, and presentable condition.
Monitor fuel levels, mileage, servicing schedules, and general vehicle condition.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and other relevant activities.
Plan routes effectively and use navigation tools to ensure efficient and timely journeys.
Ensure all required vehicle documents and statutory certifications are valid and up to date.
Report accidents, vehicle damage, traffic incidents, security concerns, or mechanical issues immediately.
Assist with the safe transportation and delivery of company documents, equipment, materials, and other authorised items.
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding company information, employee matters, client information, and conversations encountered during official duties.
Comply with all company policies, HSE requirements, security procedures, and instructions.
Provide general logistical and administrative support when required.
Perform other duties related to the role as assigned by management.
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO or equivalent.
Valid Nigerian Driver’s Licence.
Minimum of 2 years’ proven professional driving experience.
Previous experience as a corporate, executive, or company driver is an advantage.
Experience within the oil & gas, engineering, logistics, or related industry will be an added advantage.
Good knowledge of roads and routes within Lagos.
Good knowledge of defensive driving and road safety practices.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Ability to use Google Maps or other navigation applications effectively.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be punctual, responsible, trustworthy, and well-presented.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement.
Willingness to work flexible hours when required by business operations.
A clean and responsible driving record is required.
