About the RoleAre you a finance professional with razor-sharp project costing skills, a mastery of multi-entity accounting, and a track record of driving financial discipline in fast-paced environments?
We are an established Event Design & Interior Group based in Ikoyi, Lagos, looking for a high-performing Senior Accountant (Group) to oversee the financial management, budget control, project profitability, and statutory compliance across our group entities.
Though operating remotely, you will serve as the financial anchor of the organization—working closely with Project Managers, Procurement, and Executive Leadership to maintain flawless financial integrity and ensure maximum project margins.
Key Responsibilities
• Multi-Entity Financial Management: Maintain separate accounting records for group entities and prepare accurate monthly consolidated group financial statements by the 5th of every month.
• Project Costing &
• Margin Control:
Develop and monitor project costing frameworks, track budget vs. actual spend per event/interior project, and ensure target profit margins are achieved.
• Tax &
• Statutory Compliance:
Ensure 100% compliance with Nigerian tax regulations (VAT, WHT, CIT, PAYE) with FIRS and LIRS, maintaining a zero-penalty record.
• Cash Flow &
• Internal Controls:
Perform weekly bank reconciliations, manage group cash flow forecasts, oversee petty cash/expense approvals, and enforce strict audit trails.
• Payroll Administration: Oversee monthly payroll computation and statutory remittances (Pension, NSITF, ITF).
• Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and guide Account Officers/Assistants.

• Professional Qualification:
B.Sc / HND in Accounting or Finance. Must be ICAN qualified or at the final stage of ICAN exams.
• Relevant Experience: Solid hands-on experience in multi-entity accounting, financial reporting, and deep expertise in project/job costing (experience in events, interior design, construction, or creative project-based industries is a strong advantage).
• Tax Expertise: Deep understanding of Nigerian tax laws, statutory deduction processes, and FIRS/LIRS regulatory filing procedures.
• Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Sage, or Xero, plus advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
• Skills: Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, negotiation capabilities, and strong cross-functional communication.
