Job Description
Overvie
• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting strategic financial planning.
• This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and proficiency in financial software.

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and update financial records and ledgers
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations
• Support internal and external audits
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification e.g. ICAN is a plus
• 2 years proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software e.g., Accounting softwares
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with financial modeling and analysis
• Familiarity with tax preparation and filing
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
